"DO ME A FAVOR"

Where it all began!

Michael "Maxey" Weathersby Jr. (American, b. 1971), Artist/Producer and Founder & Chief Operating Officer of the Hybrid Arts Coalition, is said to have created his first piece of art as a toddler.

The story goes that one day, Maxey's mom was busy doing chores around the house and noticed that it was too quiet as the familiar sound of the 2 year old running around playing was absent! So, she instantly took off through the house searching for him, and to her surprise, she found what looked to be a baby smurf. The little dude had happened upon a bucket of powder blue paint that his dad had left unattended while taking a short break from painting the family's new home.

It is said that the child was entirely covered with blue paint and had smeared the floor of the room with paint from one corner to the other including the walls as far up as his little arms could reach…. A True Master-Piece!

Resulting in baby Maxey getting himself a good old-fashion butt spanking followed by the two words all kids dread the most, "Nap-Time"! But hey! It was also the day that the creator/artist we call "Maxey" was born.

Hybrid Arts Coalition….IT'S ALL ART!
